Steel fixer wanted in Hockley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Hockley County, Texas. You will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
