Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Mercer County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Six days a week, one day off.
