Shakeout operator — Bosque County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Bosque County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
