MIG welder • Centre County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Centre County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Six days a week, one day off. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
