Core maker — Beckham County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Beckham County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
