Job description
Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Worth County, Georgia.
On a typical shift you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness.
What we are looking for:
• Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently
• 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding
Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
Walk-in interviews this week.
