Restoration bricklayer — Butte County

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Butte County, California. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
