Conventional mill operator — Pierce County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Pierce County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
