Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat.
