Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Calhoun County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise building site. Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
