We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Hale County, Alabama. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
