Argon welding operator — Karasuwa

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Karasuwa, Yobe State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces ₦185,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
