Industrial sewing operator wanted in Mercer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
