Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Kaufman County, Texas. The job is at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Performance bonus on top of base pay.
