Tower crane operator — Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Montgomery County, Kentucky. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
