Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Brown County, Kansas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing On a typical shift you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured.
