Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
