Groundworker • Haskell County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Haskell County, Texas. You will work on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
