Vacancy available: prep cook (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a prep cook in Mills County, Texas. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Day-to-day duties: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
