Trowel-trade bricklayer — Fairfield County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Fairfield County, Ohio. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
