Now hiring: uPVC welding machine operator (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Autauga County, Alabama. You will work on a window-and-door production line. The role involves: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
