Urgent requirement: we are hiring a deboner in Monroe County, Iowa. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Day-to-day duties: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
