Immediate opening: we are hiring a window glazier in Lake County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will measure window and door openings and order glass to size; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; install toughened and laminated safety glass. Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Performance bonus on top of base pay.
