Restoration bricklayer — Palm Beach County

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Palm Beach County, Florida. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder.
