General labourer — Lawrence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a general labourer in Lawrence County, Alabama. The job is with a civil contractor. Your main tasks: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Part-time with flexible hours.
