Crane operator wanted in Iowa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Iowa County, Iowa. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
