Power float operator • Floyd County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Floyd County, Kentucky. The job is on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls 4+ years on the tools preferred.
