Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Badagry, Lagos State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Part-time with flexible hours.
