We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Logan County, Illinois. Day to day you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
