Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Your main tasks: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 3+ years on the tools preferred.
