Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Hanover County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
