Vacancy available: horizontal milling machine operator (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Caldwell County, North Carolina. You will work in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Meals and transport allowance provided.
