Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Part-time with flexible hours.
