Horticulturist — Seneca County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Seneca County, Ohio. You will be based in a public park. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Day-to-day duties: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
