On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
