Lifting rigger wanted in Cass County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Cass County, Minnesota. The role involves coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
