Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Holt County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
