Power float operator wanted in Highland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Highland, Scotland. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength.
