Banksman — Valley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Valley County, Idaho. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
