Die-casting operator — Tafawa-Balewa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Tafawa-Balewa, Bauchi State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Pay around ₦160,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
