Crane rigger wanted in Lubbock County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Lubbock County, Texas. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
