Now hiring: bench joiner (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Cheboygan County, Michigan. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Full-time with occasional weekends.
