Pastry baker — Luzerne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream 3+ years on the tools preferred.
