Vertical milling machine operator — Greenlee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Greenlee County, Arizona. You will work at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 3+ years on the tools preferred.
