Mobile crane operator — Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Montgomery County, Maryland. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control.
