Offshore rigger — Worcester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Worcester County, Maryland. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 1+ years on the tools preferred.
