Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Bath County, Kentucky. Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
