Machine operator — Talladega County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator in Talladega County, Alabama. The job is in a CNC machine shop. The role involves: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
