Safety officer wanted in Gray County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Gray County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
