Shuttering charge hand wanted in Scott County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings We offer $220 per day plus benefits.
